hpo innovation: Pioneer in innovation consulting
hpo innovation ag is one of the Swiss pioneers in innovation consulting. The company emerged from an ETH spin-off in the 1990s with the aim of permanently strengthening the innovative power of organisations and improving value creation through innovation.
Clients are medium-sized industrial and service companies as well as public sector organisations.
Since April 2023, hpo innovation has complemented and completed the range of services offered by hpo management consulting in the area of innovation.

Beat Birkenmeier
Beat Birkenmeier, Dr. sc. techn. dipl. Ing. ETH, has been Managing Director of hpo innovation ag since August 2023. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate management, technology and innovation management, project and process management. His core competence is the methodical development of growth potential and the generation of value contributions through innovation.
Beat Birkenmeier was the founder and head of an ETH spin-off for innovation consulting. Later, as a partner of GroNova AG, he headed the "Innovation Management" division for many years, where he accompanied a large number of client projects.
For clients he is project manager, moderator, coach and implementation manager. He also lectures at renowned Swiss universities and is co-author of two practice-oriented books on innovation.
